7. Cosmic Mandala- A Mandala is a traditional Eastern art form incorporating geometric shapes and patterns. It is an organizational structure of life itself. The Mandala brings together the patterns of life and helps to remind us of our connection with the universe and with our divine spirit. This Mandala incorporates the colors of the spectrum which can be found throughout all of life. The 12 points represent the 12 signs of the zodiac which have a large effect on our entire world. The 6 pointed star represents the ancient maxim “As above, so below”. It is also known as the merkaba, or each individual’s energy light body. Under that is the Flower of Life, a sacred symbol representing the Creation of the universe. The entire physical world is built upon basic geometric shapes (cube, dodecagon, octahedron, etc). All of these fundamental shapes are derived from the Flower of Life, therefore all the universe is created from ONE source. This one source expands and grows in spirals (found throughout nature from shells to galaxies). This artwork is intended to help realign the viewer with their inner divinity, centering them in their spirit.
