Tribute to Julia Butterfly
The Redwoods in northern California contain some of the largest and oldest trees in the world. The tallest tree in the world is amongst them measuring over 360’ tall and trees over 3,000 years old also make their home here. Many of the Redwoods have been cut down in the past. Julia Butterfly, eco-activist, spent 2 years living in a Redwood to protect it from being cut down. Since then she has led many initiatives to help protect the environment and communities around the world. This artwork is a tribute to her and also to the viewer. It is to be an inspiration to see the divine light in all things and work towards bringing this out through love.
Redwoods are the elder protectors of Earth. They have much wisdom and knowledge on health, vitality, and strength.
